Responsibilities:
- Purchasing orders to suppliers, distributors, and manufacturers
- Locating products and keeping accurate records of purchases made.
- Ensuring that orders received are accurate and goods are not damaged.
- Negotiating on pricing, recognizing market trends and in-demand items.
- Developing and maintaining business relationships with Vendor Reps.
- Interfacing internally with the Sales Department and externally with Vendor Reps.
- Working closely with relevant departments to ensure products purchased are in line with the needs of the company
- Maintaining current awareness of industry market trends.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Economics/Supply chain management/International Trade
- Has at least 2 years work experience as Purchasing Assistant
- Preferably has previous work experience in an Electronics or Construction/Manufacturing industry
- Working detail-orientated and having a good understanding of popular products in the industry.
- Having strong knowledge of industry market trends and conditions.
- Good organizational skills
- English language level B2
- The Chinese language is an advantage
- Good communication and negotiation skills and showing excellent interpersonal and social skills.
- Having a positive and outgoing attitude and being motivated.
- Providing good verbal and written communication skills.
